The FPTA 2019 Mid-Year Educational Seminar is in the books, and participants got great value for their involvement.
With a new, two-day format, the program started on the afternoon of Thursday, July 25th at the beautiful University of North Florida Campus. The facilities were impressive and modern.
After a gregarious welcome by UNF Chief of Police, Frank Mackesy, participants were presented with an in-progress case study implementing autonomous buses, how to become a better leader by employing emotional intelligence, and the new role of customer service in automated world.
Thursday evening was capped off with a networking dinner, presented by the FPTA, Flowbird, Amano McGann, Miami Parking Authority, and Pay by Phone. The location and dinner was eclectic and fun, much like the attendees and conversation. A great way to end the first day.
