FPTA Member Profile - Brenda Dome
This month we are featuring Florida International University’s Director of Administrative Services for Parking, Sustainability & Transportation, Brenda Dome. Learn about Brenda’s FPTA experience, as well as how FIU has managed recent industry experiences. Brenda also serves on the FPTA Board of Directors.
What was your impression of work from home before this situation? What is it now?
Our team worked diligently to set ourselves up for a successful remote operation which was carefully planned to for a seamless transition. Our call center operations continued remotely operating Monday-Friday from 7am-9pm supporting our FIU community as needed. As essential personnel, certain staff members remained on campus to assist as needed in maintaining our facilities while the administrative team worked remotely. Due to the nature of our operation and the services we provide, our community is best served when our team supports operations while on campus.
What are you most hopeful about right now?
Our University is pleased to transition to a post-COVID next normal operations and to continue to serve our students and our FIU community.
