Introducing FPTA’s New Board of Directors
The Florida Parking & Transportation Association (FPTA) is thrilled to introduce our newly appointed Board of Directors. These individuals will continue to lead the effort to provide our members with valuable education and resources to help them advance their individual careers and help their organizations improve their operations.
We would like to welcome our new board members:
· Chip Chism, Director, Parking & Transportation Services, University of West Florida
· Brenda Dome, Director of Administration Services, Florida International University
· Adrian Mandreanu, Director of Business Development, Print Media, Inc.
· George Richardson, Manager, Parking & Transportation, University of Florida Health Hospital
These great industry professionals join an already strong team who continues to lead FPTA efforts. Check out the entire list of Directors on our Board of Directors page, and learn more about their history, qualifications, and more.
On another note, the FPTA 2020 Board election was slightly different than in previous years, as we chose to increase our total number of board members from 9 to 11. Our goal was to not only offer additional opportunities for FPTA members to serve in leadership, but also increase the professional knowledge and experience of the board. Further, this change would help to expand FPTA’s reach, as well as expand our ability to offer more initiatives and programs to industry professionals in our region. With this change, moving forward the FPTA Board will include the following 11 members:
· President
· President-elect
· Past President
· Treasurer
· Treasurer-elect
· Secretary
· Directors at Large (five)
We are excited about the work this group is doing and will continue to do to support FPTA members and move our organization into the future. Special thank you to our outgoing FPTA Board Members Mark Santos, PE and Sue Tellier for their years of excellent service and leadership!
